Bushing and Kingpin Wear - Normal
General Description:
Normal wear to a bushing will show an even wear pattern at one location only. It will be on the outboard side of the top bushing
and on the inboard side of the bottom bushing. This wear is indicated by an endplay reading of more than .015".
Usual Causes:
•
High mileage
•
Small amounts of contamination
•
High loads over long periods of time
Bushing Worn in One Area Only
No Wear on Kingpin
Tie Rod End - Water Contamination
Thread Damage - Loose Clamp Assembly
