The Run menu screen allows you to control certain aspects of how the job will run.
The speed can be adjusted using the UP and DOWN keys to move the number
displayed from 1-20, 20 is the fastest, 1 the slowest. Once it is known that the stock
is running well, increase the speed as high as possible for maximum productivity.
Slow the system down if jamming occurs due to curled stock or other factors. The
impression strength can also be adjusted UP or DOWN from 1-6.
A 6 will cause the pneumatic solenoid to remain open for the longest period of time,
which will give better results on heavier or coated stocks. Impression intensity can
also be controlled, by regulating the amount of air pressure that the machine utilizes.
This is done by turning the regulator adjust knobs counter clockwise. Ensure that
the Counter CLR box is at “0” if you want the system to count the number of pieces of
paper processed. Press the RUN key when ready to proceed. Press the STOP key
or turn off the pump to stop the job running. The “Left” and “Right” boxes will move the
crease while the machine is running by 1/64” to a maximum of 1/8” in either direction.
The Press the MAIN key to return to the initial Welcome screen.
