1. Prepare the painted surface in front of the fog light by washing it first with soap

and water to remove any road dirt and grime then scrub the area with household
rubbing alcohol. After the area has been thoroughly cleaned swipe the surface
once with the adhesive promoter provided.


2. You will notice that the two stainless grilles have an odd unsymmetrical oval

shape to them. This shape is designed to fit perfectly into the contour of the fog
light opening. The first step is to place one of the grilles into position and make
note of the overall fit and position. The grille diamonds or vertical slates should
be pointing upwards to the top of the hole. You will notice that the grille itself
will fit just to the outer edge of the hole. Holding the grille in position trace along
the edge of the grille with a pen or pencil. Then remove the grille. You should
have a complete circle drawn directly on the paint.


3. You have been provided with two strips of black molding. This molding has been

provided to create a surface for the new grille cover to attach to. Begin by
removing the red release liner from the molding and placing the trim so that it sets
in place just UNDER an 1/8

th

of an inch on the inside of the line that you drew in

step 2. Press firmly to set. Now swipe the black trim that you just installed with
the adhesive promoter provided this is the surface where you will be attaching the
new cover to.
