Your new retro grille comes to you preformed however it will be necessary to force the
grille into and onto the factory grilles horizontal rib.
1. Carefully and accurately tape your grille opening completely top, bottom and sides
using a 2” to 3” masking tape. This step is done in order to protect your paint during
installation.
2. Your grille comes to you with four zip ties attached. Allow these ties to enter the grille
opening so that they set above and below the center horizontal rail of the factory grille.
3. Carefully place the grille into position. Using both hands grip the grille and squeeze
the center bar onto and into the factory grille horizontal bar. You will find that it will
take the shape of the grille and pretty much stay in position.
