ALTERNATOR PULLEY COVER SET

Introduction: This new pulley cover set has been designed to fit and adhere directly over the factory pulley
Liner Information: Your new accessories will come to you with a protective surface liner. Leave this liner in place until
the installation is complete to prevent finger prints and or possible scratches during installation.
1. The first step will be to thoroughly scrub clean the front of the pulley with alcohol to remove any and all road
grime and dirt.
2. Apply the adhesive promoter provided to the outer rim of the pulley.
3. Place the pulley ring over the pulley to make sure it fits properly and also to get acquainted with just how you will
line up the ring to the pulleys outer edge. It is very important that the new ring be centered perfectly so that
when it is adhered it will not wobble out of round when the car is running.
4. Now that you have got a good idea of how it will place simply remove the red release liner from the back of the
ring and then carefully set it to the pulley. Press firmly along the ring to set the adhesive.
5. The last thing will be to attach the center cap. This cap has been cut and hollowed out to fit the center hub of the
stock alternator. To attach this simply apply a small dab of clear 100% silicone into the cap making sure not to
apply too much as this will tend to ooze out and make a mess. Just enough to make full contact everywhere
around the hub will be just fine. Once you have applied the silicone press the cap over the hub and allow this to
dry for at least 24 hours. This will prevent the cap from spinning off and possibly spreading the silicone
everywhere so make sure you have allowed enough time to cure. Remove the protective liner from the pulley
ring to finish the installation.
