1. Thoroughly scrub clean the bumper insert area with rubbing alcohol to remove
any and all waxes and or paint treatments. Test your cleaning by applying a piece
of masking tape to the area you just cleaned. If you have achieved a tack remove
the tape then swipe the entire area with the adhesive promoter provided. This
promoter need only be swiped once and with a thin coat. Do not saturate. This
promoter will insure a nice strong bond long term.
2. Before you permanently install the new insert place it in position to get
acquainted with just how you will set the part in place. The attachment tape is
very aggressive and will not allow you to reposition it once you have set it in
place so go slowly and carefully. Once you are ready simply peel the red release
liner from the back of each insert and then carefully set them in place pressing
firmly to set. Peel the protective liner from both sections to complete the
installation.
