3. Place the Velcro attachment bracket over the loosened bolt so that the tab
faces the rear of the engine and tighten down. Place your new cover over the
power steering reservoir and take a look at the overall fit make any
adjustments by hand if needed. Replace power steering cap.
4. You have been supplied with a chrome decorative power steering cap cover.
In order to install this cover simply scrub the top of the factory cap with
household rubbing alcohol to remove all dirt and grime. Then swipe the top
of the cap once with the adhesive promoter snap tube provided. Remove the
Velcro attachment cookie from the underside of the chrome cap peel the
release liner from the cookie and firmly press into place on top of the
prepared factory cap. Then simply set the chrome cap cover in place.
Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust
your cover with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles from
scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality streak
free glass cleaner.
