Your new doorsills are designed to fasten over the two carpet screw areas.

1. Remove the two factory screws. Note: These will not be reused. Place your new

sill in position over the two holes. Using two of the three screws (provided) for
each side, fasten securely. Be sure NOT to OVERTIGHTEN as this will distort
the metal. Note: It is important that the flat head screws seat flush in the sills.

2. Drill the remaining hole with a 9/64

th

drill bit and install the final screw. Remove

the protective liner.

3. You have been provided with two molding strips, use one of them and place it

over the screws to finish this part of the installation. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR
DOOR.

4. In order to create adequate clearance for your new sills it will be necessary to

remove the five screws holding your lower carpet to your door panel. You have
been provided with 5 replacement screws that will sit deeper into the door panel
grommets thus creating adequate clearance.

5. Repeat steps one thru four for the opposite sill.

If any questions occur during installation, please contact American Car Craft at

Thank you and enjoy your new purchase.

Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your new sills. It is a good idea to lightly
dust your sills with a clean soft cloth (or a clean California style duster) first in
order to prevent any particles from scratching them. (NOTE: Once this metal is
scratched it can not be repaired so please use extra care when cleaning these sills.)
Then spray and wipe (using a new clean soft cloth or lint free paper towels) with a
good quality streak free glass cleaner.
