Your new hood panels come to you with a protective liner that you will remove after
installation. This will help produce a nice clean install.
1. Temporarily remove the two wheel wells from the hood and the two wire
harnesses and grommets from the inner side wall of the main hood insert section.
You will notice a small notch in the hood casting directly at the top center of the
main hood insert area. This notch will have to be shaved down flush to the hood.
The fastest and easiest way to accomplish this task is to grind it flush using a
common cut off wheel which can be found at any auto body supply or auto parts
