Step 2: The panhard bar relocation bracket is designed to wrap

around the OEM bracket. There is a hole in the top of the bracket,

which mates to the slotted hole in the top of the OEM bracket where

the tab on the black plastic cover attached. Insert one of the supplied

10mm bolts and washer through the top hole and insert the supplied

longer 14mm bolt and washer through the OEM panhard bar mounting

hole. Tighten both bolts with the supplied washers and locking nuts.

This process will locate the lower hole of the bracket for drilling and

prevent twisting.

Step 3: Next, drill the hole in the bottom of the panhard bar axle

bracket using a 10mm drill bit or equivalent SAE drill bit. If you are

using an SAE drill bit, you may need to use the next size up from

10mm (.3937”) and enlarge the hole on the panhard bar relocation

bracket. 11mm or 7/16” should be the maximum hole size. Attach the

relocation bracket using the supplied 10mm bolts, washers and locking

nuts. Tighten only the 10mm bolts for now. The 14mm bolt can be

removed.

Note: The supplied panhard bar relocation bracket can be welded to the OEM bracket. If you

choose to use this method, use the procedures in step two to make sure the bracket is properly

located before you weld.

Step 4: On a workbench or floor, assemble the panhard bar by

threading the forgings into the tube. There is one right hand forging

and one left hand forging. If the forging does not want to thread into

the tube, try turning the tube over and threading into the other end of

the tube. Set the tube to the OEM length to start. This can be done by

inserting the OEM bolts into the holes at each end of the OEM panhard bar and using it as a guide to

set the length of the new bar. Some additional length adjustment will be required once the new

panhard bar is inserted into the chassis and axle mounting brackets. Insert the new panhard bar into
