1) Armasight Avenger Monocular
Night vision monocular.
2) Objective lens cap
The objective lens cap protects the objective lens from physical damage and allows operational test-

ing of the device in daylight.
3) Eye cup
The rubber eye cup protects the eyepiece and provides comfort for the user.
4) cR123A lithium battery
3V CR123A lithium battery supplies power to the unit.
5) user Manual
The user manual contains a full description of the device and accessories, information about controls,

installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
6) carrying case
The carrying case is used to store and carry the Avenger monocular and accessories.

1) IR850 Detachable long Range Infrared Illuminator w/IRAv Adapter (Item# AnkI000024)
Extra long-range infrared illuminator. Provides greater viewing capabilities when the environment has

little or no ambient light.
2) camera Adapter #47 (Item# AnAM000016)
An adapter with step down ring that allows the Avenger to be attached to any 35 mm SLR camera or

8 mm camcorder.
3) goggle kit (Item# AnkI000018)
The kit includes headgear, a mounting adapter, and a 1x lens.

2. PREPARATIOnS FOR OPERATIOn

Avenger night vision monocular is designed for several years of reliable service. To ensure

trouble-free performance, please follow these instructions :
Do not activate the device in daylight unless the protective lens cover is fitted securely over

the objective lens. If the device is ON, do not direct the device at bright light sources, such as car

headlights, camp fires, street lights, etc., as this will cause damage to the device.
Do not perform operational checks in daylight unless the front lens cap is fitted securely over

the lens, and even then, the device should only be ON for the few seconds it takes to establish

correct operation.
Do not open the body of the device or otherwise disassemble it.
Do not drop or otherwise impact the device.
Do not expose the device to moisture or extreme temperatures.
Do not touch the lens. Clean optical parts with a clean, soft cloth, and only use professional

lens cleaners designed for use with optics.
Do not forget to remove the battery if the device is to be stored for more than 3 days.
Always turn the device OFF when it is not being used.
