Without software control
To change a battery:
-
Open the protection case of the
EBI16. Data logger is now visible (see
picture 1).
- Use the opening tool to open the
housing of the data logger (see
picture 2).
- Remove the battery retaining clip
(picture 3). (Loosen the screw, lift the
retaining clip and remove it carefully.)
- Pull the battery plug out of the circuit
board (picture 4).
- Remove the empty battery.
- Place a new battery in the battery
compartment in exactly the same
position as the one you have just
removed.
- Insert the retaining clip carefully in the
two slots so that the red battery wire
lies below it, so that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.
- Plug the battery plug carefully into the
socket on the circuit board (reverse
battery protection). To the right of the
battery compartment, you will see an
LED. This LED will flash as soon as
the circuit board is receiving power
from the battery again.
- Tighten the retaining screw again.

After the replacement of the O-ring
reassemble the housing in reverse
order.
Changement

du logiciel
Pour changer la pile :

Ouvrir le boîtier de protection de l’EBI
16. L’enregistreur est à présent
visible (voir image 1)
- Utiliser les outils pour ouvrir le boîtier
de l’enregistreur (voir image 2)
- Enlever le cache de la pile (image 3).
(Déviser la vis, soulever le cache et
l’enlever délicatement)
- Débrancher les connectiques reliant
la pile au circuit électronique (image
4)
- Insérer une nouvelle pile dans le
compartiment à la même position que
la pile enlevée précédemment.
- Remettre le cache avec précaution
dans les deux fentes de sorte que le
fil rouge de la pile se trouve en
dessous, évitant qu’il soit écrasé ou
abimé.
- Rebrancher les connectiques au
circuit (pro
tection contre l’inversion de
polarité). A droite du compartiment de
la pile, vous trouverez une diode
lumineuse (led). Cette led clignotera
dès que le circuit électronique est
alimenté par la pile.
- Resserer la vis
- Après le changement du joint
d’étanchéité, assembler le boîter en
sens inverse.
