Changing the TS-LLD LSU Filter Screen or O-Ring
Parts Required:
1. TS-LLD Installation Manual
(INCON P/N 000-1359)
2. TS-LLD LSU Stainless Steel Filter Screen
3. and/or TS-LLD LSU O-Ring
Tools & Material Required:
1. Manufacturers’ documentation for the Submerged Turbine Pump (STP)
2. See the Installation Manual for a detailed list of Materials & Tools Required
Old TS-LLD LSU – Removal Steps:
1. DANGER disconnect electrical power as described in the LSU Installation and
Safety chapters of the TS-LLD Installation Manual.
2. Bleed / relieve the pipe line pressure !
3. Follow the LSU Installation steps shown in the TS-LLD Installation Manual – IN
REVERSE ORDER – to remove the LSU.
Filter Screen – Installation:
1. Remove the old Filter Screen and / or O-ring
2. See the LLD Maintenance & Service chapter in the TS-LLD Installation Manual
for inspection issues too. Install the new Filter Screen while being careful not to
spread the screen apart too much (it is soft and easy to deform). A new O-ring
can be installed by stretching out enough to fit on the LSU until it can seat in the
O-Ring groove (do not roll or twist the O-Ring).
3. Reinstall the LSU . Follow the Safety Instructions, the steps for LSU
Installation, and the After Installation Steps / Testing (as detailed in the
Installation Manual).
