Private zone
The private zone function allows sections of the video
image to be masked. Start by selecting a camera. Acti-
vate the private zone function using the check box. Mark
a rectangle at the left of the preview area. Up to four pri-
vate zones can be configured. There are buttons on the
right side which allow you to delete individual masks or
all masks.
Tamper surveillance
The tamper surveillance function allows you to monitor
the entire video image, or a section within the video im-
age, for masking. Start by selecting a camera. Activate
the tamper surveillance function. Mark a section within
the preview window for monitoring (alternatively, mark
the entire image). Schedules for monitoring and reactions
when the camera is masked can be programmed as re-
actions (similar to motion detection). The adjustable sen-
sitivity controls the reaction speed in the event of mask-
ing. The delete button removes the section to be moni-
tored.
Video signal loss
In the event of video signal loss, a corresponding reac-
tion can be triggered. Start by selecting a camera. Acti-
vate the function using the check box. Schedules for
monitoring and reactions when the video signal is lost
can be programmed as reactions (similar to motion de-
tection).
