Accept the settings by pressing “OK” or cancel them by pressing “Cancel”.

6.6 Preset position


When related to the pan/tilt function of the network camera, presets show the saved positions of the pan/tilt
camera head. These positions can be called up directly in the live view and specific tours can also be
configured (see the “Patrol” section). These positions can still be set following an event (see the “Alarm
sending” section below).


Setting

Preset position:

Configure the settings for preset positions here.

Set:

The current position of the pan/tilt head is saved in the preset list below with a
description (Preset Pos. Name) after pressing this button. The next free preset number
is always used.

Reset:

The “Preset Pos. Name” field is emptied.

Home:

When this field is marked, the current preset is accepted as the home position
(standard position of the pan/tilt head) when “Set” is pressed.


Delete All:

All presets in the list below are deleted.

Calibration:

If the pan/tilt head is twisted horizontally or vertically by external influences, then a new
calibration can be made here.


Preset Pos. Name: Enter a name for the preset to be saved here.
Preset Go:

Calls up the preset from the selection field to the right.


Control Panel:

A new window is opened with the video image of the camera and control panel by
pressing this button. When Internet Explorer is used, the video is opened via an
ActiveX plug-in. When Mozilla Firefox is used, the video is displayed in MJPEG mode.


Home position:

The home position is displayed here.

Home Pos. Name:

The name of the preset defined as the home position is displayed here.


Number:

Up to 32 presets can be assigned.

Name:

The set name for the preset number is displayed here.


Delete:

Press this button to delete the preset.
