Setting for North America and Japan.

g.711 a-law:

Setting for Europe.

AMR Audio:

Audio codec for transmitting audio files to mobile devices. This option can lead to a
reduction in the frame rate.

Off:

The audio transmission is deactivated.


Audio mode:
Bit rate:

Bit rate in range 4.75-12.2 kbps (only with audio codec option = AMR Audio).


Video clip format:

Select between MPEG-4 and H.264 for the compression type of the saved video clips
(e.g. e-mail SMTP video clip transmission). The H.264 option can result in the
utilisation of more system resources, which can lead to a reduction in camera
performance (e.g. frame rate and motion detection).


IR:

Settings for the integrated IR-Cut filter.

On:

The IR-Cut filer is permanently activated.

Off:

The IR-Cut filter is permanently deactivated.

Auto:

The integrated IR-Cut filter is activated and deactivated automatically according to the
threshold setting limits.

Threshold:

Bright – The higher the value, the earlier the camera activates the IR-Cut filter for day-
mode setting.

Dark – The lower the value, the earlier the camera deactivates the IR-Cut filter for
night-mode setting.


Host name:

Enter the network host name here. The maximum length is 32 characters.


Status LED:

Turns all Status LED on camera rear panel on or off


Overlay:

Settings for display in video image.

Text overlay:

The “Alias” setting, plus the date and time (optional) can be displayed in the video
image.

Privacy mask:

Alternatively, an area of the video image can be masked off and thus hidden from view.


Text color:

Specifies the colour of the displayed text.

Background color: Specifies the background colour of the displayed text area.
Alias:

Description for the display in the video image.

Date/Time:

The date and time can be displayed in the video image.

Display position:

Specifies the position of the displayed text overlay.


Accept the settings by pressing “OK” or cancel them by pressing “Cancel”.
