Troubleshooting Printer Difficulties

The I/R LED’s are located on each side of the ComLink. Make
sure the LED’s are in line of sight of each other and no more than
3 feet apart.

If you do not get a response from the printer, be sure to check the
following:

Does the printer have power ?
Is the printer on-line?
Is the ComLink connected to AC Power and turned on?
Are the I/R ports within 3 feet of each other?
Are the I/R ports lined up and clear of obstructions?
Is the printer cable securely connected to the ComLink?
Be sure the serial port is not connected when using the parallel
printer port.

Serial Port

The Serial port is active and will transmit anything it receives from
Ferret 14 or 55. When software becomes available you will be
able to display the analyzer readings on an IBM personal computer.
