Configuring the Scan Tool for Updates
Connect the serial cable to
an open serial port on your
PC.
Connect the other end of
the serial cable to the Scan
Tool.
Plug the power adapter in
to a source of AC Power.
Press the up arrow key
while plugging in the power
adapter into the Scan Tool.
The Scan Tool display should light up, but nothing will appear on the
screen. You are now ready to install new software using the Loader.
