Adjusti ng so that each BeltStati on always appears in the same positi on of the BaseStati on display is a two step process:
1. Advance to the BaseStati on’s “Display Slot Assignment” secti on of the “Tech Menu” and select
Stati c
.
2. In each BeltStati on, advance to the “Base Slot” secti on of the “Tech Menu” and adjust each BeltStati on to a diff erent
slot (1 – 5). The BeltStati on designated to slot 1 will always appear on the far left of the BaseStati on display, with slot 2
appearing in the next positi on to the right, and so on.
In
Stati c
Mode, if a BeltStati on is not turned ON, or is logged out due to being out of range, the BaseStati on LCD will
display a very obvious “X,” making it easy to see at a glance which BeltStati ons are currently acti ve.
A Multi ple BaseStati on system that uses iSelect Roaming must choose to use “Dynamic” slots to ensure that BeltStati ons
can move from BaseStati on to BaseStati on when roaming.
Name Equipment
Name the BaseStati on with a descripti ve name which will appear on the BeltStati on LCD display. This is most helpful when
iSelect Roaming will be used to roam between BaseStati on coverage areas. The BaseStati on name can include up to 14
characters.
Name each BeltStati on with a descripti ve name. Unti l the name is changed, a hexadecimal serial number is displayed.
The fi rst six characters of the BeltStati on name will be displayed on the BaseStati on LCD display. Naming is a personal
preference opti on and is not essenti al.
