2 INSTALLATION
The 8350 probes should be installed vertically for optimal results. They may, however, be installed
horizontally or upside down.
• Insertion mounting:
screw-in or flange fitting.
• Immersion mounting: immersion shafts (0.5m; 1m; 1.5m) with fixed, adjustable or clip-type
flanges.
The probes are fitted with 10 metres of cable as standard.
For longer cable lengths, up to 25m, use a straight junction box (08350=A=8500) and the 2654
cable (358048,00000).
For even longer cable lengths, use a pre-amplifier unit (08350=A=8000) and the 2666 cable
(370=506=025).
In this case it will not be possible to monitor the impedance.
