OPERATION:
1. Hold the Voltage Tester in your hand by
grasping and depressing the pocket clip -
operating switch. If the batteries are working
you will observe a quick green battery check
flash. Continue depressing the clip.
2. Test the device with a known live current
source by bringing the sensing tip nearby a
working wall receptacle or cord.
The Voltage Tester is indicating voltage as long
as the red LED light flashes and the “beep”
sound continues to oscillate in close proximity
of a cord connected to a power source.
3. After verifying above performance, the circuit
in question can be tested.
NOTE: Always verify performance as dead
batteries in the voltage tester may give the false
impression that a circuit is off, even though it is
still live.
MAINTENANCE:
Do not attempt to repair this tester. It contains no
user-serviceable parts.
Cleaning:
• Remove grease and grime with a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasives or solvents.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
Packaged complete and ready to use with two
“AAA” batteries installed.
1. Disconnect the unit from the circuit
2. Remove the battery cover with screwdriver
3. Replace the batteries (observe polarity)
4. Replace the battery cover
