Viewing Configured Community Strings

To view the currently configured community strings, use the following CLI
command:

#

show snmp community [<community-string>]

Setting the Trap Receiver

To set the trap receiver for a community string, use the following CLI
command:

(configure)#

snmp-server notify <ip-addr> <community-string>

Deleting a Community String

Switch Community
String

To delete a community string for the switch, use the following CLI
command:

(configure)#

no snmp-server community <community-string>

[<ip-address>]

ro

Assigns read-only access to the community string.

rw

Assigns read-write access to the community string.

[<ip-addr>]

The IP address from which the community string is
valid.
