Receipts

Receipts are the reverse of Issues, however, the form and methods used are
similar. Use the Receipts function to receive new items into stock and
update the quantity on-hand.

Performing
Receipts

The main difference between Stockroom’s Receipts function and Stock-
room’s
Issues function is that you receive items instead of issuing them.
You can perform receipts without an existing item definition; the Receipts
function allows you to add new items as you go.

1.

To open the Receipts form, select Manage > Stock > Receipts option
from the ribbon.

2.

The Stock Receipts form appears.

3.

Enter the job or order number in the Job/Order# field and press TAB.

4.

Enter a value in the Department field and press TAB.
To add a new Department enter it and press TAB.

5.

Click in the Item field, and select an item from the drop-down list, and
press TAB.
If the items being received were previously issued and are being
returned to inventory, mark the Return check box.
