Since IIS and SQL Server reside on different computers, the Create IIS
Dependencies Utility cannot be used to configure IIS and SQL Server
permissions; they must be manually configured. Please refer to

Depending on your operating system, you will use either Microsoft Active-
Sync or Windows Mobile Device Center Software for PC-handheld device
communication.

Windows XP/Windows Server 2003: uses Microsoft ActiveSync for
PC-handheld device communication. For more information about

Installing
Microsoft
ActiveSync on
your Desktop
Computer

Microsoft ActiveSync is a Remote Data Access (RDA) component. It
needs to be installed on your system according to the RDA setup option
that you have chosen. Microsoft ActiveSync is always installed on the PC
as the IntelliTrack workstation application.

The Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 operating systems use
Microsoft ActiveSync for PC-device communication. If you are using
Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008, please refer to

“Using Mobile Device Center for Vista Software” on page 28

for informa-
