in your application directory. For complete data backup information, please
refer to your User Manual or the online help.
Warning: To ensure against loss of data, make sure that you have created a
backup copy of your database before removing the previous software ver-
sion. Do not remove your previous software version until you have created
a backup copy of your database.
To remove the previous software version, use the Windows control panel to
Add/Remove Programs and remove the WMS workstation application
from your computer. Use Windows Explorer to delete the directory where
the previous version was installed.
Data
Your data will automatically be updated to run in WMS v8.x during the
installation process if you are upgrading was WMS v7.0 or higher. If you
are using a version prior to WMS v7.0, you must upgrade your data manu-
ally. If you are using a version prior to 7.0, you must manually upgrade
your data.

Prior to WMS v5.3 Pleas contact IntelliTrack Software Services

WMS v5.3 First run the upgrade53.sql script. Second,
run the upgrade601.sql script. Third, run the
upgrade62.sql script. The upgrade scripts
are located on the root of your Disk #1 Instal-
lation CD.
We recommend backing up your data
BEFORE you run the upgrade scripts.
