The IntelliTrack License Service
If you are upgrading from WMS v7 or v8.0 and have the IntelliTrack
License Service installed on your system, you may continue to use the
existing license service with Intellitrack WMS v8.x
Pre-Installation Considerations
Note: It is important to read the following information PRIOR to installing
IntelliTrack WMS.
Before you begin installing IntelliTrack WMS, please take these consider-
ations into account: application directory, authentication type, operating
system, and for CE Batch users, Remote Data Access (RDA) configura-
tion.
Required Network/System Information
• Application Directory: Make sure you know which machine Intelli-
Track WMS will be installed on, and the drive letter of the \Intel-
liTrack WMS directory (where the application executable resides).
Note: The application directory represents the target path where the work-
station application executable resides.
• Authentication Type: When adding the database to an existing SQL
Server installation, know the type of authentication used by your sys-
tem:
Mixed security: If Mixed security is used, the sa password is required.
Windows domain security only: If this option is used by the system,
users must be given read/write permissions to the WMS database
BEFORE running WMS.
• Administrative Privileges: Required at the PC for WMS installation
• Operating System: Verify the operating system installed on your Intel-
liTrack WMS target server PRIOR to the installation of the database
