Troubleshooting Guide
Item Symptom Possible Problem Solution
1 Reading is incorrect. 1. Poor connection at the test
clips. 1. Check connections to ensure teeth
of voltage-sensing and current clips
are firmly in contact with the device
under test.
2. Verify that the sense cables are
connected on the inside of the
current cables. See Figures 6 & 7.
2 “Cable Error” Message. 1. No test current going
through the device under test.
2. Sensing cables problem.
1. Check current cable connections to
the device under test.
2. Check sensing cable connections.
3. Run Calibration Test.
