To install the cooling kit, please follow the steps below.
S te p 1: Place the cooling kit onto the CPU. Make sure the CPU cooling fan cable
can be properly routed when the cooling kit is installed.
S te p 2: Properly align the cooling kit. Make sure its four spring screw fasteners can
pass through the pre-drilled holes on the PCB.
S te p 3: Secure the cooling kit. From the solder side of the PCB, align the support
bracket to the screw threads on heat sink that were inserted through the PCB
holes. (See Figure 4-4)

S te p 4: Tighten the screws. Use a screwdriver to tighten the four screws. Tighten each
nut a few turns at a time and do not over-tighten the screws.
S te p 5: Connect the fan cable. Connect the cooling kit fan cable to the fan connector
on the motherboard. Carefully route the cable and avoid heat generating chips
and fan blades.
