Setting up the Morning Shift

First, John (the CheckPoint™ administrator user) sets up the Morning Shift. (If a default shift already
exists, you can edit the default shift or create a new one. See page 4.9 for details.) John clicked New
Shift
and entered the following information in the indicated fields to complete the details on the new
shift:

ƒ Shift Name: Morning Shift

ƒ Description: Morning Shift

ƒ Company Time: From 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

ƒ Start Date: The shift has no starting date. The pattern is the same every day, every week.

ƒ End Date: The shift continues forever.

ƒ Repeat Frequency: Daily, Every 1 day

Once he completed this configuration, he clicked the Save button.

Setting up the Day Shift

Next, John needs to set up the Day Shift. John clicked New Shift and entered the following information
in the indicated fields to complete the details on the new shift:

ƒ Shift Name: Day Shift

ƒ Description: Day Shift

ƒ Company Time: From 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

ƒ Start Date: The shift has no starting date. The pattern is the same every day.

ƒ End Date: The shift continues forever.

ƒ Repeat Frequency: Daily, Every 1 day. The pattern starts over every day.

Once he completed this configuration, he clicked the Save button.
