3.2 Pendant Mounting
Before you start:
Pendant mounting is applicable to the indoor/outdoor solid ceiling.
Notes:
 The ceiling must be thick enough to mount the expansion screws.
 The ceiling must be strong enough to withstand more than 4 times the weight of the dome
and its accessories.
Steps:
1. Install the mounting base.
1) Drill four φ12 holes in the ceiling according to the screw holes of the mounting base.
2) Hammer M8 expansion screws (not supplied) into the holes.
3) Feed the power line, video cable and control line from the cable hole or mounting base
through the pole.
4) Align the four screw holes of mounting base with expansion screws in the ceiling.
5) Secure the mounting base to the ceiling with four set screws.
Notes:
 Make sure that the cables have enough length.
 The pendant mount is not recommended for outdoor applications.
 If you have to apply pendant mount outdoor, please use water-proof measures between the
ceiling surface and mounting base and around the cable hole. Do not feed the cables through
the cable hole.
