8.6.5. Limits of Temperature Range

In the same way you may now change temperature limits and reaction of analog

output, if a break in the sensor line of Pt-1000 occurs. The display will now

show "T out" instead of "H out" or "T err" instead of "H err", but the change of

values is the same as points 7.6.2, 7.6.3 and 7.6.4. If these parts of the program

are done, the "RANGE" menu ends. You may now jump back to the beginning

of "RANGE" via "RETURN" - pressing "M" first and then "E" -, or to the

measurement mode via "RUN" -pressing "M" twice and then "E".

8.7. Submenu "OFFSET"

The second part of the "ANALOG" program is named "OFFSET" and its

intention is to give the user the possibility to adjust the analog outputs to other

connected devices . The changeover from "RANGE" to "OFFSET" is done by

"M", entering "OFFSET" is done by "E".

8.7.1. Adjustment of Analog Output Humidity

The display now shows "H set" - if you want to change the actual value of offset,

you enter this part by "E". For the adjustment you should now connect a

multimeter (range 20 mA or 10 V), or the recorder or display normally

connected to the transmitter. With pushbuttons " " and " " you may now adjust

the offset at the lower border of humidity range (when display shows "H set "),

or at the upper border (when display shows "H set "). Button " " lowers,

button " " raises the analog output. If desired value is in the display,

acknowledge with "E".

8.7.2. Adjustment of Analog Output Temperature

If you change from "H set" to "T set" by "M", you may adjust now, with the same

procedure, the analog output of temperature. Again, if the desired value is

reached, the acknowledgement is done by "E".

Leaving "T set" or "H set" is possible in two ways - like in all other menus - via

"RETURN" or "RUN". "RETURN" jumps back to "OFFSET", "RUN" jumps

directly to the measurement mode.

9. RS-232 Data Transmission with Series 72 Transmitters

9.1. MODUS 1: (Hardware Handshake)

The transmission will be controled by CTS-signal:

a) CTS = 1 (-12Volt): Send datas according to protocol 1
b) CTS = 0 (+12Volt): No sending of datas.

IF CTS is set to Zero during sending a string of datas, the transmission ends

after sending the complete string.
