00809 is to read 80.9 %RH (or other dimension)
9.2. MODUS 2: Software Handshake, controlled by Host
It is necessary that: Signal CTS is connected to +12V. (Bridge RTS-CTS)
9.2.1. Control of stand-alone Transmitter (XON/XOFF-Handshake)
For this, the address of the transmitter must be "0"
The following ASCII-codes will cause actions:
XON:
(17dez,11hex) String as in Mode 1 will be send.
XOFF:
(19dez,13hex) ends data transfer after next Byte and
deactivates digital output.
CAN:
(24dez,18hex) deactivates digital output.
P:
(80dez,50hex) prepare a Polling. All following codes
(besides "P") will be read and sent again. After a second
"P" was read, the transmitter will send a string
according to protocol 2 (s. b.) and then the code "P"
9.2.2. Control of Transmitters on BUS (XON/XOFF-Handshake)
An address >0 is necessary for all transmitters on BUS.
In this mode, the lines TxD and RxD are internally connected, which results in a
ring of up to 99 transmitters.
Control of transmitters is done by ASCII-codes as follows:
XOFF: (19dez,13hex) ends data transfer after next Byte and
deactivates digital output
CAN:
(24dez,18hex) deactivates digital output.
P:
(80dez,50hex) prepares a Polling. The ring of BUS-lines
is opened, all following codes (besides "P") are read
and sent again. After "P" was read a second time, the
string of protocol 2 is sent and followed by code "P".
This ends the transmission and closes the ring-BUS.
NOTE: In a ring BUS structure, a sending of "PP" results in getting strings of
measurement values sent from all transmitters. At the end of the transmitting
sequence, the host will get "P" as the final code.
N:
(78dez,4Ehex) starts addressing. An address consisting
of 2 decimals and an order-code are to follow. The
string must be ended with <CR> (13dez,0Dhex). If the
address is the correct one for the transmitter, it will
carry out the order. At the moment, the orders may be:
