An applique is created by cutting a contrasting piece of fabric into
a shape to be used as a decoration on a garment or project.
1. Baste the cut design to the fabric in the location where desired.
2. Carefully sew around the edge of the cutout design with a Zigzag
Stitch in the fine stitch length.
3. Cut away the surplus fabric outside of the stitching.
4. Remove the basting, if necessary.

If you use the Clear-view Foot, it is easy to see the fabric and to
produce more beautiful stitches.
NOTE:
Make reinforcing Straight Stitches at the beginning and the
end of the stitching to secure.
CAUTION
Be careful that the needle does not strike a basting pin
during sewing. Striking a pin can cause the needle to break,
resulting in injury.

Si queremos colocar un aplique de piel etc. que haga contraste, para
utilizarla como decoración en una prenda.
1. Hilvane la aplicación recortada al tejido, en donde desee ponerla.
2. Cosa cuidadosamente los bordes del diseño con una puntada
zigzag en un largo de puntada fino.
3. Recorte el tejido sobrante que quede fuera del pespunte.
4. Quite los hilvanes, si fuera necesario.
* Si utiliza el prensatelas transparente, le resultará fácil ver el tejido
y conseguir puntadas aun más bellas.
NOTA:
Haga unas puntadas rectas como refuerzo al principio y al final de las
puntadas para que no puedan deshacerse.
PRECAUCIÓN
Asegúrese de que la aguja no tropieza con los alfileres durante
la costura. Si tropieza con un alfiler, podría romperse la aguja y
causar lesiones.

Pour créer une applique, il suffit de découper un morceau d’un tissu
contrastant et de lui donner la forme d’une décoration à appliquer sur un
vêtement ou sur un ouvrage.
1. Faufiler le motif découpé à l’endroit souhaité.
2. Coudre soigneusement le contour du motif en points zigzag avec une
fine longueur de point.
3. Couper la partie de tissu dépassant de la couture.
4. Défaufiler, si nécessaire.
* Avec le pied bonne vision, on peut mieux voir le tissu et produire de
meilleurs points.
REMARQUE:
Faire quelques points droits à chaque extrémité pour renforcer la couture.
ATTENTION
Assurez-vous que l’aiguille ne frappera pas d’épingles durant la
couture. Autrement l’aiguille pourrait casser et vous blesser.
