With the USB cable, connect the printer
to the computer running Windows

®

, and

then turn on the printer. Check that the
printer is in USB mode (page 30), and
then click [Next].

Installation of the driver is now
complete.

Use any application to check that
printing can be performed with this
printer.

Uninstall the Printer Driver

Perform this procedure only when printing
from this printer (PJ-673) is no longer
necessary or when re-installing this printer's
printer driver.

If the installation was performed via a
wireless LAN connection, both [Brother
PJ-673 USB
] and [Brother PJ-673] must be
uninstalled.

Turn off the printer.

[Control Panel] in [Apps] screen -
[Hardware and Sound] - [Devices
and Printers
].
For Windows

7: From the [Start]

menu, click - [Devices and
Printers
].

Choose [Brother PJ-673] or
[Brother PJ-673 USB], and click
[Remove device] or right click on the
icon, and then click [Remove
device
].
If a User Account Control message
displayed, type in the password, and
then click [Yes].

Choose [Fax] or [Microsoft XPS
Document Writer
] in the [Devices
and Printers
] window, and then click
[Print server properties], which
appeared in the menu bar.

Click the [Drivers] tab, and then click
[Change Driver Settings]. If a User
Account Control message displayed,
type in the password, and then click
[Yes]. Choose [Brother PJ-673] or
[Brother PJ-673 USB], and then
click [Remove...].

Choose [Remove driver and driver
package
], and then click [OK].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
