Classic Effects (FX1, FX2, and FX3)

NOTE: For all of the programs in the FX1, F2, and FX3 modules, choosing 0 indicates the
most subtle option, choosing 9 indicates the least subtle option, and — where relevant —
choosing P lets you control the effect with an optional external expression pedal attached to
the back of the Bassfire.

Auto Wah. U1 – U4 sweep up; U5 – U9 sweep
down.

,

Phaser. Higher values result in more feedback.

,

Tremolo. Higher values result in greater depth.

,

Cry. Adds a human-like crying effect to the
sound.

,

Step Filter. Produces an arpeggiator-like sound.

Slow Attack. Reduces the attack rate of the signal.

Auto Phase ( ). A phaser for which the delay is
controlled by playing intensity.

,

Sub-Bass Synthesis. Adds ultra-low harmonics.
NOTE: Take care when using headphones or
external amps/speakers with this effect, as it adds
powerful lows that can damage certain equipment.

Flanger. Shifts the pitch of the signal up and
down, creating a swirling effect.

,

Rotary Speaker (L). Emulates the sound of the
classic rotary speaker.

,

Chorus. Adds fullness to your sound.

Pitch Transpose. Transposes the pitch either up
or down. P0 – P4 transpose the pitch down a
minor third, a major third, a perfect fourth, and a
perfect fifth respectively. P5 – P9 transpose the
pitch up in the same manner.

Variable Pitch Transpose Up. Transposes the
pitch up from 0 to 2 octaves.

Variable Pitch Transpose Down. Transposes the
pitch down 0 to 2 octaves.

Ring Modulation. Modulates the amplitude of
the signal, giving it a metallic sound.

Auto Pan. Pans the signal back and forth from left
to right in the stereo field at a constant rate.

Octaver. Adds a note an octave lower than the
note you are playing.
NOTE: Take care when using headphones or
external amps/speakers with this effect, as it adds

Doubling. Doubles the signal with a slight delay.

Ping PonG Delay. Creates a delay that bounces
back and forth in stereo.

Tape Delay. Emulates the retro tape-delay effect.

Stereo Delay. A standard delay that occurs in
stereo.

Echo. The classic echo effect.

,

Hall Reverb. Simulates the reverberation of a
concert hall.

,

Room Reverb. Simulates the reverberation of a
regular room.

Reverse Reverb (u). Creates a backwards-playing
reverb that you hear immediately before you hear
the original signal, instead of after it.

Plate Reverb. Simulates the classic “plate reverb”
sound of a metal plate.

Off. Turns off the effects for this module.

DIGFX (Digital Sampling Effects)

NOTE: As with the programs in the FX1, F2, and FX3 modules, choosing 0 indicates the
most subtle option, choosing 9 indicates the least subtle option, and — where relevant —
choosing P lets you control the effect with an optional external expression pedal attached to
the back of the Bassfire.

Sample Rate Decimation. Creates low-fi effects.

Bit Reduction. Lowers bit depth to create highly “digitized” sounds.

Off. Turns the DIGFX off.

LEVEL

Level. Indicates the program output level in 2dB steps, where 25 is unity
gain.
