Energy Saving
- Touch the Energy Saving button at the bottom of the Home screen.
- The refrigerator power consumption can be reduced by either turning on the Smart Grid feature
or the Smart Saving feature. Both features cannot be on at the same time.
Smart Grid
Smart appliances can communicate with
local utility companies that are equipped
with SMART GRID equipment. These utility
companies can then adjust the operating times
for enabled smart appliances during peak
electricity demands. Turning this feature on
can help reduce your electricity consumption
by allowing the utility company to delay some
of the functions of your machine during peak
electric demand.
Select ON or OFF to turn the SMART y
GRID feature on or off. The status of the
smart grid is shown on the home screen.

CAUTION
Smart Grid feature can be used only y
when Smart Grid service is provided by
the utility company. The LG Electronics
Zigbee module must be compatible with
the Smart Meter and installed properly
prior to usage.
