Accessing System Programming
& Maintenance Utility
System Programming & Maintenance Utility (SPM) emulates a system programming
console, enabling you to program and administer your MERLIN LEGEND from the
IS-III Master Controller. Using SPM, you can perform the following tasks:

add, move, and change your telephone features and assignments
create and save a backup copy of the telephone switch system programming
information
restore the telephone switch system programming from the backup copy if the
programming is lost because of a system failure
print programming reports on a printer connected to the Master Controller or
store the reports in a file for viewing on the Master Controller’s monitor.
