If the password for a Storage Management Server is changed, take the following actions to
refresh the Storage Management Server password on the CMS and in the Matrix recovery
management configuration:
1.
Discover the Storage Management Server with the changed password.
2.
Go to the Matrix recovery management user interface Storage Management Servers tab.
3.
Select the Storage Management Server that has the changed password, and click on
Edit.
4.
Select the Refresh SIM Password box and click Save.

When HP P9000 Continuous Access Software storage replication is used, Matrix recovery
management depends on the HP P9000 Cluster Extension Software command-line interface
(CLI) to manage storage replication. The HP P9000 Cluster Extension Software CLI must be
installed on a standalone Windows system. HP P9000 Cluster Extension Software depends
on HP P9000 RAID Manager Software to manage P9000 storage replication. HP P9000
RAID Manager Software instances and configuration files must be configured to manage
various device groups that are configured in Matrix recovery management. For more
