7. Click OK to activate the changes.

Caution

Be sure you record your password in a safe place. To restore operation if you
forget your password, call Hewlett-Packard at the number in the Support and
Service
booklet.

To delete a password

1. In Program Manager, double-click the OmniBook Tools icon (in the Main group).

2. Click Password.

3. Click Set User Password.

4. Type your old password.

5. Leave the New Password box empty, then click OK.

To set up an administrator password

You can also set up an administrator password on your OmniBook. The
administrator password can serve as a backup for the user password—you can enter
it any time the user password is requested—or you can use the administrator
password to keep your PC identification and configuration secure.

1. In Program Manager, double-click the OmniBook Tools icon (in the Main group).

2. Click Password.

3. Click the Set Admin Password button.
