in new cartridges. Remaining materials are separated and converted into raw
materials for use by other industries to make a variety of useful products.

U.S. returns

For a more environmentally responsible return of used cartridges and
consumables, HP encourages the use of bulk returns. Simply bundle two or more
cartridges together and use the single, pre-paid, pre-addressed UPS label that is

Recycled paper

This product is suited for the use of recycled papers when the paper meets the
guidelines outlined in the Print Media Guide. See

to order the guide. This product is suitable for the use of recycled paper

according to DIN 19309.

Battery use

This product does not contain batteries.

Mercury use

Mercury has not been deliberately added to this product.

To ensure longevity of this multifunction product, HP provides the following:

Extended warranty

HP SupportPack provides coverage for HP hardware and all HP-supplied internal
components. The hardware maintenance covers a three-year period from date of the
HP product purchase. The customer must purchase HP SupportPack within 90 days
of product purchase. See

“HP customer care service and support” on page 107

for

information on its availability.

Spare parts and consumables availability

Spare parts and consumable supplies for this product will be made available for at
least 5 years after production has stopped.
