22 LUN Security XP Extension panes
Volume Detail dialog box
This dialog box displays a list of logical volumes combined into a LUSE volume (see ” Viewing a list of
logical volumes combined into a LUSE volume ” on page 29). For more information about LUSE volumes,
see the HP StorageWorks LUN Configuration and Security Manger XP user guide for the specific array.

This dialog box includes the following items:
• CU:LDEV: CU image number and logical volume number of each volume combined into a LUSE
volume.
• S-Vol: Indicates if a logical volume can be specified as a copy destination volume (a secondary
volume) for Continuous Access XP and Business Copy XP operations. Enable indicates the logical
volume can be specified as a copy destination volume. Disable indicates the logical volume cannot be
specified as a copy destination volume.
• OK button: Closes the dialog box.
Setting Multiple Extents pane
Use the Setting Multiple Extents pane to perform operations on multiple extents at one time. Use LUN
Security XP Extension to delete multiple extents at one time. Use the Setting Multiple Extents (Delete All
Extents) pane Figure 10 to select multiple volumes and delete all extents in the selected volumes.

The Setting Multiple Extents (Delete All Extents) pane displays the following items:
• Target Volumes: Volumes whose extents you are deleting. The CU image number the volume to belongs
appears to the left of the colon (:). The volume number appears to the right of the colon.
• Candidate Volumes: Volumes that contain extents and that belong to the CU selected in the CU list. The
CU image number to which the volume belongs appears to the left of the colon (:). The volume number
appears to the right of the colon.
• CU: Used to select the CU number containing the volume to display in the Candidate Volumes box.
• Set button: Moves volumes selected in the Candidate Volumes box to the Target Volumes box.
• Release button: Moves volumes selected in the Target Volumes box to the Candidate Volumes box.
• OK button: Closes the Setting Multiple Extents (Delete All Extents) pane, and applies settings to the LUN
Security XP Extension pane. This does not apply settings to the array. To apply settings to the array,
click Apply in the LUN Security XP Extension pane.
• Cancel button: Discards settings in the Setting Multiple Extents (Delete All Extents) pane, and closes the
pane.
