Light description/Light pattern

Explanation and
recommended action

The Power light, Resume light, and Door Open light are on.

There is a cover or
door open.

Make sure all
doors and covers
are closed.

Press
(Resume button)
to continue printing.

The Power light and the Resume light blink, and one or more of the
ink cartridge lights are on.

One or more of the ink
cartridges have expired.

CAUTION: Device
services or repairs
required as a result of
using expired ink
cartridges will not be
covered under
warranty.

Replace the
indicated ink
cartridge.

If you choose to
use the expired ink
cartridge, press
and hold
(Power button),
and press
(Resume button)
three times. All
lights except the
Power light go off.
Damage that
results to the
printer from using
this cartridge is not
covered under the
warranty.

The Power light is on, and one or more of the printhead lights blink.

One or more of the
printheads are missing.

Install the
indicated
printhead, and
then try to print.

If the error persists
after installing the
indicated
printhead, see

Device does not
accept printhead

.

If the error still
persists, replace
the indicated
printhead.
