Configuring the M8706A Tape

Drive for the NonStop BladeSystem

Configuration Overview

NonStop BladeSystems can connect to the tape drive by means of a CLIM

(CLuster I/O Module), Each CLIM provides access to the tape drive through a

Fibre Channel port.

Adding the Control Path

To add the control path to the server configuration database, use the SCF ADD SCSI

command. Use the SCF ADD TAPE command to add the data path. Before issuing

these commands, check that the device is installed properly.
To add the control path:
-> SCF
-> ADD SCSI
