Keywords

Specifies the Fibre Channel port number, where the first port is 1.

-fc_port

Specifies the FC target WWNN.
If the -fc_port keyword is used and this keyword is not, the router uses the default
WWNN for the presented Fibre Channel target.

-wwnn=

Specifies the FC target WWPN.

-wwpn=

If the -fc_port keyword is used and this keyword is not, the router uses the default
WWPN for the presented Fibre Channel target.

Example

c:\> rcli map global_iscsi_target iSCSI -fc_port=1

Global Target successfully mapped to FC port 1

map target

The map target command maps an iSCSI or Fibre Channel target to an iSCSI or Fibre Channel
port.

Syntax

map target

NOTE:

You must specify either the -fc_target or -is_target keyword, but not both.

You must specify either the -fc_port or -ge_port keyword, but not both.

Keywords

Specifies the Fibre Channel port number, where the first port is 1.

-fc_port=

Specifies the name of the Fibre Channel target to map to the iSCSI or Fibre Channel
port.

-fc_target=

Specifies the GbE port number, where the first port is 1.

-ge_port=

This keyword is combined with the -ge_port keyword to specify the iSCSI target
name.

-iscsi_name=

If the -ge_port keyword is used and -iscsi_name is not specified, the router
uses a default name for the presented iSCSI target.

Specifies the name of the iSCSI target to map to the iSCSI or Fibre Channel port.

-is_target=

Specifies the virtual port group index Values are:

-vpgindex=

virtual port group index starting at 1

none

This keyword is combined with the -fc_port keyword to specify the WWNN of
the FC target.

-wwnn=

If the -fc_port keyword is used and -wwnn is not specified, the router uses the
default WWNN for the presented Fibre Channel target.

This keyword is combined with the -fc_port keyword to specify the WWPN of
the FC target.

-wwpn=

If the -fc_port keyword is used and -wwpn is not specified, the router uses the
default WWPN name for the presented Fibre Channel target.
