Light description/Light pattern Explanation and

The Power light and one or more of the ink cartridge lights blink. One or more of the ink
cartridges are
incompatible or need
attention.
The ink cartridge is not
intended for use in this
product. Replace the
indicated ink cartridge.
The Power light is on, and one or more of the ink cartridge lights are
on. One or more of the ink
cartridges are low on
ink and will need to be
replaced soon.
Get new ink cartridges
and replace the
existing cartridges
when they become
empty.
All lights blink. A non-recoverable
error has occurred.
Unplug the power cord,
and then plug the
power cord back in,
and try printing.
The Power light, Resume light, and one or more ink cartridge lights
blink. Non-HP ink has been
detected in one or
more of the cartridges.
CAUTION: Product
failure or damage
attributable to the use
of non-HP ink is not
covered under
warranty.
Replace the cartridge
indicated with an
original HP cartridge or
press (Resume
button) to use the non-
HP ink.
