Economy settings

Sleep mode

The adjustable sleep mode feature reduces power consumption when the product has been inactive
for an extended period. You can set the length of time before the product enters sleep mode.

NOTE:

This mode does not affect product warm-up time.

1.

On the control panel, press the Setup button.

2.

Use the arrow buttons to select the System Setup menu, and then press the

OK

button.

3.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Energy Settings menu, and then press the

OK

button.

4.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Sleep Delay menu, and then press the

OK

button.

5.

Use the arrow buttons to select a sleep delay time period, and then press the

OK

button.

Low power settings

Low power mode is an energy-saving feature of this product. After a user-specified time period (the
low power delay period), the product automatically reduces its power consumption. The product
returns to the Ready state when it receives a wake event.

Set the low power delay period

You can change how long the product remains idle before it enters low power mode.

1.

On the control panel, press the Setup button.

2.

Use the arrow buttons to select the System Setup menu, and then press the

OK

button.

3.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Energy Settings menu, and then press the

OK

button.

4.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Auto Power Down menu, and then press the

OK

button.

5.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Auto-Off Delay menu, and then press the

OK

button.

6.

Use the arrow buttons to select a low power delay time period, and then press the

OK

button.

Set the wake events

You can select which events cause the product to return to the Ready state after being in low power
mode.

1.

On the control panel, press the Setup button.

2.

Use the arrow buttons to select the System Setup menu, and then press the

OK

button.

3.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Energy Settings menu, and then press the

OK

button.

4.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Auto Power Down menu, and then press the

OK

button.

5.

Use the arrow buttons to select the Wake Events menu, and then press the

OK

button.

6.

Use the arrow buttons to select the events that you want to return the product to the Ready
state, and then press the

OK

button.
