Depending on where you are in the program, you may have to tap

OK several times to exit.

NOTE: At this point, be sure your HP iPAQ is cradled and you have

synchronized with your personal computer using ActiveSync.

Again verify if you have Internet access on your HP iPAQ by

visiting a web site such as

www.google.com

or

www.yahoo.com

If you still cannot access the Internet, take your HP iPAQ out of the cradle

and use a GPRS connection. For details, refer to Chapter 7, in the section

”Creating a GPRS/EDGE Connection.”

Viewing the Main Screen

When you launch GPS Navigation, the main screen displays. Use the

main screen to navigate to your destination. Your position displays on the

map using your GPS receiver.

IMPORTANT: If your GPS receiver has not yet determined a clear

position from the GPS satellites, the main screen displays your last known

position. To indicate that your actual position is unknown, the screen will

display in black and white instead of the standard colors.

NOTE: If you frequently use your HP iPAQ’s GPS Navigation capability

while driving, you could consider connecting the HP iPAQ to your

automobile’s power outlet. An Auto adapter for your HP iPAQ can be

purchased separately at

www.hp.com/go/ipaqaccessories

The dark red path indicates the calculated route. The instructions guide

you along this path to reach your destination.
