5.5.4 DISPlay Subsystem

The DISPlay group of commands is used to control the selection and presentation of measurements.

DISPlay:ACTive[?]

Description:

Set or return the active channel for talk commands.

Syntax: DISPlay:ACTive <numeric value>

Argument:

<numeric value> = 1 to 2

DISPlay:CLEar

Description:

Clear all data buffers for CH1 and CH2. Clears averaging filters to empty. Does NOT clear errors.

Syntax: DISPlay:CLEar

DISPlay:LIN:RESolution

Description:

Set or return the display resolution for linear voltage readings. The number of significant digits
displayed is equal to the argument. This command also sets the resolution of measurements
returned in remote mode.

Syntax:

DISPlay[1|2]::LIN:RESolution <numeric value>

Argument:

<numeric value> = 3 to 5

DISPlay:LOG:RESolution

Description:

Set or return the display resolution for logarithmic voltage readings. The number of decimal places
displayed is equal to the argument. This command also sets the resolution of measurements
returned in remote mode.

Syntax:

DISPlay[1|2]::LOG:RESolution <numeric value>

Argument:

<numeric value> = 1 to 3

DISPlay:LABel:MODE

Description:

Turns on/off the user message display mode enabling the user to place text messages on the front
panel display.

Syntax:

DISPlay:LABel:MODE <Boolean>

Argument:

<Boolean> = { 0, 1, OFF, ON }
