MAINTENANCE
The following actions will keep the probe in good working
condition.
Always keep the pH glass bulb wet by using the plastic
bottle to protect and store the probe. You can also store
in a KCl solution. Never use distilled or de-ionized water
for storage.
Always rinse pH probe in de-ionized water before using.
Never touch or rub the glass bulb tip.
This probe is designed with a fiber junction. To prolong
the life of the probe, it is recommended to clean the
probe monthly by immersing in a cleaning solution for a
minimum of 30 minutes. After cleaning, rinse with tap
water and recalibrate with the meter.
To further prolong the life of the probe, extend the fiber
junction and remove the dirt portion. The extendable
fiber reference junction is used to eliminate the reading
errors from a clogged junction.
