2. Insert a 1 ¼” Carriage bolt (Hardware Packet B)
into each hole (Figs. 4-D).
3. Place the clamp onto the bolts (Figs. 4-E & 4-F).
4. Place a flat washer and locking nut onto the
bolt (Fig. 4-G).
5. Tighten with the 7/16” wrench (Fig. 4-H).
DO NOT over tighten.
Frame Assembly
Materials:
• Hardware Packet B
• Part H-I, M-N
• Clamps (4)
• 7/16” wrench
NOTE: The frame assembly consists of distinct
left and right posts for both the head and foot of
the bed frame. Each post is labeled with a letter
for easy assembly. Reference the Posey Bed frame
location to assist with assembly (Fig. 4-A)
Frame assembly requires two
people to provide stability and to help prevent
injury.
NOTE: Use the control pad to elevate the head
and knee portion of the frame for easier assembly.
Right Head Post
1. Align the right head post (Part I) with the holes
on the frame located at the right side, head of
the bed (Fig. 4-C).
NOTE: Make sure the holes on the posts face
inward and towards the center (Fig. 4-B).
